The pricing for the 2025 Lexus LC500, a luxury sports car available in both coupe and convertible models, has been officially revealed, alongside details of its latest specifications.
Interestingly, the Lexus LC500 is one of the least popular cars in the American market, the world’s second-largest automotive market after China. So far this year, Lexus has only managed to sell 1,294 units of this model in the United States. However, this low sales figure doesn’t imply that the life of this luxury sports car is nearing its end.
Looking ahead to 2025, Lexus, a subsidiary of Toyota, plans to give its remarkable sports car with a V8 engine a subtle update.
The 2025 LC500 will arrive in the market with a few modest enhancements and a slightly increased price tag. The starting price for this sports car is now set at $100,425, including shipping and handling, which is just a $625 bump compared to last year’s model.
2025 Lexus LC500 Global Pricing:
- The 2025 Lexus LC500: Starting at $100,425 (approx. 376,593).
- The 2025 Lexus LC500h: Starting at $103,575 (approx. 388,406).
- The 2025 Lexus LC500 Convertible: Starting at $107,625 (approx. 403,593).
Updates for the 2025 Model:
While the LC lineup for 2025 doesn’t see many changes, a few noteworthy updates have been introduced. The most significant addition is the new underfloor supports, designed to enhance the vehicle’s rigidity. Additionally, the color palette has expanded to include a new Iridium Silver paint option, previously featured on the Lexus IS sedan and Lexus RX SUV. The hybrid variant now includes a carbon-fiber skid plate as part of the Sport Package.
In the convertible version of the LC500, buyers can now select between a red or blue roof. These color options were initially available exclusively on Bespoke Builds but are now offered as standalone choices.
Mechanical Specifications:
Regrettably, there are no updates to the powertrain for 2025. Every 2025 Lexus LC500 is powered by the same naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine as before, producing 471 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).
After reviewing the pricing and updates for the 2025 Lexus LC500, it’s clear that these minor changes are unlikely to significantly boost the car’s sales in the global market.
