Fiat new 500 or Fiat 500e was unveiled in 2020 as a battery electric city car with a range of 320 km when fully recharged. The Fiat 500e competes with electric city cars like the Mini Cooper SE , BMW i3, Smart Forfour, Honda e and similar sized EVs. The New 500 sits on a totally new platform and is slightly bigger than its 2007 predecessor. Overall, the appearance of the New 500 conveys a more powerful and robust character, with clean and simple lines.
Compared to the earlier 500, the New 500 is 6 cm (2.4 in) longer, 6 cm (2.4 in) wider, and 4 cm (1.6 in) taller, with a 2 cm (0.79 in) increase in wheelbase.
