An Unexpected Reason Behind The Destruction of This New Shelby GT500

Today we will reveal to you an unexpected reason behind this crime committed against this new Shelby GT500 sports car that all Mustang fans dream of owning.

Before revealing the truth about what happened to this new Shelby car, we would like to point out that the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, which was previously test-driven by our colleague Suhaib Shashaa in an episode of Special Coverage program, is the most powerful production car manufactured by Ford so far.

The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 is currently the most expensive production Ford car manufactured in America, since the Ford GT model is produced in Canada and it is considered an exclusive limited production version, but this version of Shelby cars, whose price starts from 74,000 US dollars, equivalent to 277,500 Saudi riyals, was sacrificed for a higher cause!

According to what was posted by the Dearborn Fire Department page on Facebook, this 2020 Ford Shelby Cobra GT 500 was cut up in Dearborn, Michigan, USA in order to train firefighters on vehicle extrication and saving passengers during a rescue operation.

As a reminder, the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is powered by an 8-cylinder V-shaped 5.2-liter engine equipped with a 2.65-liter Supercharger to generate760 hp and 847 Newton meters of torque and is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The new Shelby, with a weight of 1,850 kilograms, accelerates from 0 to 96 km / h (60 mph) in 3.3 seconds, and tackles the quarter-mile in less than 10.7 s!  The most powerful Ford car can accelerate from 0 to 160 km / h and back to zero in 10.6 seconds over a distance of 800 feet and has a top speed of 289 km / h.

Despite what has been done to this version of the new Shelby GT500, this training is very important to develop the skills and speed of firefighters and save people in traffic accidents. May God protect us all!
