A few days ago, the all-new 2021 GMC Yukon was revealed, it was also announced then that this model has a completely new off-road version called 2021 GMC Yukon AT4, and this new American car is what we will talk about in this article.
In order to strengthen its market position as the only premium truck and SUV lineup that’s made to be used both on- and off-road., General Motors made its mind and decided to introduce a Yukon AT4 to make the luxury SUV follow the steps of its Pickup sibling the 2019 Sierra that was the first to offer an AT4 version.
Now GM is making AT4 available across its entire retail lineup in 2020, with the additions of the first-ever AT4 of 2021 Terrain and 2021 Yukon
AT4 was created as a unique persona that offers credible capability while still providing premium everyday comforts. The variants have a distinctive combination of off-road capability, innovative technology, and bold design, along with GMC’s premium refinement that serves as a practical complement to an authentic outdoor lifestyle.
Core design details include premium, rugged exteriors including black chrome grille, fog light surrounds and rear appliques, as well as unique authentic aluminum interior décor and premium fabric colors.
Coupled with the four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, the AT4 can raise and offer an additional 2 inches (50 mm) of ground clearance. When at this maximum height, the vehicle offers a nearly 32-degree approach angle for added off-road capability, it also rides on 20-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires.
Inside, the 2021 GMC Yukon AT4 cockpit got exclusive leather-appointed seats and stitching, unique Jet Black interior color theme with red accents, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row outboard seats.
Mechanically, the car is equipped with the standard 5.3L V8 engine delivering 355 horsepower and 519 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission
