According to official sources, the all-new 2020 Mercedes CLA 200 was tested with 3 different drivers and they started at a speed of 76 km / h but could not go through the course without striking conest so they had to lower the entry speed to 66 km / h (41 mph).
The result was disappointing, especially that the Mercedes-Benz brand is often associated with precision, luxury, and performance,
Here are the detailed results :
- It failed at a speed of 76 km / h.
- It did not succeed at a speed of 68 km / h.
- It did not succeed at a speed of 73 km / h.
- It succeeded at a speed of 66 km / h but with “Poor” result, as described by the testers

The new Mercedes CLA 200 is powered by a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 161 hp and 249.5 Nm of torque and is connected to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The front-wheel-drive car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds and has a top speed of 228.5 km / h (142 mph).
