Cadillac Company announced the arrival of its new SUV Cadillac Escalade 2020 in the region, and the luxury large SUV came in a more sophisticated design, with a set of technologies and distinctive features
The product line is offered in Escalade and extended-length Escalade ESV models, with the Escalade ESV featuring a 356 mm longer wheelbase and approximately 518 mm greater overall length. That greater length increases space for third-row passengers and more than doubles the cargo space behind the third row.
The 2020 Escalade is offered in Premium Luxury and Platinum trims in addition to the standard Escalade/Escalade ESV. For 2020, a new Sport Edition is available on the Premium Luxury and Platinum models.
With a bold new look, the black-accented 2020 Escalade Sport Edition is the first special edition available for the award-winning SUV. It is distinguished by gloss black exterior trim, including the front grilles, window moldings, bodyside moldings and more, as well as a unique Midnight Silver finish on the standard 22-inch wheels.
The styling cues combine sculpted surfaces and high-technology embellishments to give the Escalade a stand-out appearance. The 2020 additions include a new exterior color option – Dark Mocha Metallic.
Dynamic front styling cues are enhanced by a highly detailed Galvano chrome grille that has a unique, almost brushed look and feel. It is accented by full LED lighting in the front and rear. And the new luxury SUV got standard 22-inch aluminum wheels on Base, Premium Luxury and Platinum models.
Inside the 2020 Escalade, the 12.3-inch instrument cluster features a reconfigurable, high-resolution digital driver information center (DIC) display paired with the next-generation Cadillac user experience infotainment system.
The seats are sculpted in appearance and feature a reclining second row. The design incorporates dual-firmness foam that ensures long-trip comfort and helps retain appearance over time.
The Escalade also offers a quiet environment thanks to a strong body structure and enhanced use of noise-attenuating materials and processes, including triple-sealed doors, acoustic-laminate glass, and Bose Active Noise Cancelation technology
The Escalade 2020 interior includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with wireless display and charging, five USB ports, and a Bose audio system with 16 speakers.
The Escalade’s performance is highlighted by the powerful and efficient 6.2L V-8 engine, rated at an SAE-certified 420 horsepower (313 kW) and of 621 Nm torque. It also features the 10-speed transmission which is the first introduced into a luxury SUV.
The standard four-wheel-drive system enables the driver to select an Auto mode for set-it-and-forget-it automatic activation, and Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Control, the world’s fastest-reacting suspension system, is standard, delivering precisely controlled driving performance.
