Audi entered the challenge in the luxury SUV segment with its latest model, the star of today’s episode of Special Coverage program, the 2020 Audi RS Q8 that our colleague Mousub Shashaa test-drove in Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands in Spain.
The new Audi car is considered a high-performance version of Audi Q8 – which we previously test-drove in detail in an episode of Test Drive program with Karim Deeb. Today’s star also holds the title of the fastest SUV car on the Nurburgring circuit in Germany, the homeland of speed records, as it finished a lap on the famous track in 7: 42.25 minutes.

The new German high-performance sports car comes with LED matrix lighting and carbon fiber accents, and the new 2020 Audi RS Q8 rides 23-inch rims. The car has grown wider on each side compared to the regular Audi Q8.

The 2020 Audi RSQ8 is powered by a twin-turbo 4-liter V8 engine that generates 592 hp (600 PS) and 800 Nm of torque, supported by a mild hybrid system with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. The engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The car weighs more than 2,250 kilograms and it was equipped with Quattro system. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds, and from 0 to a speed of 200 km / h in 13.7 seconds, and it can reach an electronically limited top speed of 305 km / h , the same top speed of the Italian supercar Lamborghini Urus.
The price of the new 2020 Audi RSQ8 in the global market starts from 141,650 USD, equivalent to 531,100 SAR.
