The All-New All-Electric Hummer EV To Be Revealed Soon

The American company GMC has officially announced the launch date of the new all-electric Hummer EV, which was supposed to be launched on May 20 of 2020 but the Coronavirus pandemic has caused this date to be postponed

GMC announced today that its all-electric super truck will debut later this fall and will begin production in fall 2021. Details about the GMC HUMMER EV’s remarkable on- and off-road capabilities will be shared closer to its reveal.

We have already reported that the American manufacturer decided to bring back Hummer brand after it was stopped in 2010, but this model will return in an advanced and different shape, as the new hummer will belong to the category of fully electric pickup vehicles, in order to compete with; Tesla CyberTruck, Rivian R1T, and Ford F150 with its upcoming all-electric version.

It was previously announced officially that the new Hummer electric truck will have very high-performance numbers! As the power of its electric motors will reach 1,000 horsepower, while torque in this all-electric vehicle will reach 15,592 Newton meters, which equals 11,200 pounds foot!

Compared to the old Hummer cars that stopped years ago; Hummer H1, Hummer H2, and Hummer H3, the most important development in the upcoming new electric  Hummer which will be offered as a model for the year 2022, will be in its acceleration numbers, as the old Hummer cars had very slow acceleration numbers from 0 to 100 km / due to their massive weight, but the situation will radically differ with the new electric version as the upcoming EV Hummer will be able to reach a speed of 96 km / h (60 mph) in just 3 seconds!

As soon as our Arab GT team has more information about the capabilities of the GMC all-electric Hummer EV, we will provide it to you immediately, God willing.
