Today, we will discuss some leaked information about the upcoming all-new 2023 Mazda CX-5, which is expected to compete with the luxury crossover models made by the famous German automakers; Mercedes GLC, BMW X3, and Audi Q5.

In this article, we are talking about the third and upcoming generation of the CX-5, the best-selling Mazda car in the global market, and this crossover car came with these generations so far:

  • The first generation was manufactured from 2012 until 2017 and was unveiled for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011.
  • The second generation had its start in 2017 and is still being produced today, and it was revealed for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2016.

The current Mazda CX-5 comes with a front-wheel-drive or an all-wheel-drive system, and the all-new 2023 Mazda CX-5  is likely to get a rear-wheel-drive system, as the leaks suggest the Japanese crossover will adopt a new chassis that will also be used in Her its sedan sister, 2023 Mazda 6.

The details available to us suggest that the new generation of the 2023 Mazda 6, which will receive a design derived from the Mazda Vision Coupe concept, will be launched during the year 2022, before the all-new 2023 Mazda CX-5 is revealed, God willing.
