As Karim Deeb promised you on Instagram, you are today on a date with a detailed test drive of the all-new Yukon in its two versions; the luxurious 2021 Yukon Denali, and Yukon AT4, the new version specifically designed for off-roading.
In the beginning, we would like to remind you that last week we presented our first test-drive of the newest 2021 GM cars, and Suhaib Shashaa explained the big differences between the 2021 Yukon and the old model.
The beginning of the Yukon was in its first generation in 1992, and today we are testing the fifth and all-new generation of GMC Yukon that was launched in its motherland America during January of the beginning of 2020, which is nearing the end.

The new Yukon car comes with a front-end design inspired by its sister vehicle, the Sierra pick-up truck, while on the rear it draws its identity from its smaller sisters, the 2021 Acadia and Terrain.
The length of the new Yukon is 5,334 mm, it is based on a new chassis with a wheelbase of 3,071 mm, and it has a rear Cargo Capacity of 722 liters behind the third-row seats. For those who want a greater length, there is the long-wheelbase version, the 2021 Yukon XL, which has a length of 5, 720 mm, and comes with a wheelbase of 3,406 mm, and with a Cargo Capacity of 1,175 liters behind the third-row seats, the difference in length between the two versions is 37 cm and 6 mm.
The 2021 Yukon Denali is powered by the same 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 420 hp and 624 Nm of torque, but it got a new 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The standard 2021 Yukon comes with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that generates 355 horsepower and 519 Nm of torque, connected to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. We test-drove this engine on the AT4 version.
