After a long wait, the new 2021 Kia Sorento was officially revealed on the Internet, away from the usual official launches that are covered by the media, due to concerns about coronavirus as you might have guessed. May Allah protect us all!
This is the third and all-new generation of the Korean SUV Sorento, which competes against Japanese SUVs such as Nissan Pathfinder, Honda Pilot, and Toyota Highlander, in addition to the American SUVs Dodge Durango and Ford Edge.
The exterior design of the new 2021 Kia car came completely different from the previous model, while the car retained the front end and the iconic “tiger nose” grille with modern design LED headlights. Sorrento was also equipped with vertical taillights inspired from the larger 2020 Kia Telluride, and the length of the car increased slightly.
Inside Kia Sorento, we notice a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a large touch screen for the infotainment system. They also improved the quality of the materials used, which included leather, metal decorations and other new touches.
While the car was equipped with a large number of safety and security systems, but we hope that Kia would not limit these specifications, as usual, for the higher trims, leaving the standard version with just a pair of airbags like most cars dealers do in the Middle East!
The engine options available for the 2021 Kia Sorento
