New Information About The Upcoming 2023 Mazda 6
Today, and for the first time, dear Arabs GT followers, we will be talking about the upcoming 2023 Mazda 6 sedan that will follow in the Bavarian manufacturer BMW footsteps.
According to a new report published by Car & Driver website, the sedan, which will be officially redesigned at the end of 2022, will appear as a 2023 model. The report also said that the new Mazda will get drastic changes and will follow the same approach used in new BMW cars.
The unofficial report added that the upcoming all-new generation will rely on a platform that supports the new rear-wheel-drive system, and is compatible with providing the Mazda 6 2023 with a longitudinally designed engine.
Despite the lack of official information, the press report suggested that the fourth and completely new generation of Mazda 6 will be equipped with a 6-cylinder engine with Skyactiv-X technology, and the new Japanese car will receive a 48-volt hybrid system

- The first generation was made from 2002 to 2008.
- The second generation was made during the years from 2007 to 2012.
- The third and current generation started in 2012 and got a big update in 2018
