It’s Hard To Believe The Power Of The Upcoming Electric Porsche Macan

It is really hard to believe the new leaks about the power of the upcoming Electric Porsche Macan !

After we saw the launch of the 2020 Porsche Macan GTS  last December, we will focus today on the next and second generation of the German crossover.

This is not the first report about the upcoming all-new generation of Porsche Macan, as the German manufacturer has already confirmed that it will provide a fully electric version of this model in addition to the regular gas engine options.

However, our team got unofficial leaked information published by Automobilwoche, indicating that Porsche will unveil the all-electric Macan next year 2021, but the start of production of this model will not take place until the end of the year 2022. This means we can expect deliveries to customers in 2023 if this unconfirmed information is correct.

Although the company did not announce the specifications of the all-new 2023 Porsche Macan, but according to media speculations the new Porsche will be based on the all-new PPE chassis specially developed by the German VW Group, to be used on the upcoming Porsche and Audi electric cars.

However, what took us by surprise was the amount of power the Porsche Macan would get, as mentioned in the leaked report, and we surely hope the German manufacturer will confirm!

According to the report, the power of the high-performance version of the all-electric crossover will reach at least 700 horsepower with a torque of 1,016 Nm. The 2023 Porsche Macan Turbo version would get this power from two electric motors powered by lithium-ion batteries.

As a reminder, we have already test-driven the 2020 Porsche Taycan, the first electric car manufactured by German automaker Porsche in an episode of Special Coverage program.
