Today, we will show you a video posted on YouTube showing the result of a speed challenge between 2 German rivals; Mercedes G63 AMG and the Bavarian BMW X5 M. Watch the video to know who won this challenge!
The result of the first race:
BMW X5 M won the challenge after it traveled the quarter-mile track in 12.48 seconds, at a speed of 177 km / h (110 mph). On the other hand, Mercedes G63 AMG finished the same distance in 13.93 seconds with a speed of 161 km / h. (100 mph).
The result of the Second race:
BMW X5 M was also faster, as it took 12.46 seconds to travel the quarter-mile strip with a speed of 177 km / h (110 mph), and Mercedes G63 AMG accomplished the mission in 14.02 seconds with a speed of 162 km / H (101 mph).

This car is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine which generates 567 hp and 750 Nm of torque, and the engine is connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The performance figures of the two cars may be close, but the reason why X5 M triumphed over Mercedes G63 AMG is because Mercedes G63 is heavier. That said, the type of tires used on each car and the skill of each driver can also play an important role.
