The 2020 Chicago Motor Show witnessed the launch of the facelifted 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. This is the first update the American compact SUV gets in its third generation, which started in 2017 as a 2018 model.

First of all, the updates included a new trim level called Equinox RS, which got standard LED headlamps and 19} Dark Anrdoid wheels. No major changes were made to the styling of the 2021 Chevrolet SUV, but it got a reshaped grille, new headlights that are split into two, and revised taillight graphics.
Mechanically, the refreshed American car is available with 2 turbocharged petrol engines; a 1.5-liter or a two-liter. The engine can be coupled with a 6-speed or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The car comes standard with a front-wheel-drive system and can be requested with an all-wheel-drive system.
It is still too early to know the price of the renewed 2021 Chevrolet Equinox, but it is expected to be close to the price of the 2019 model, which started from $ 30,295, equivalent to SAR 113,606.
Regarding safety, the American company says that the Equinox can help the driver avoid potential hazards with its host of standard safety and driver assistance features, which include Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and Front Pedestrian Braking, as standard features.
