Today we will introduce you to a completely new car in this episode of Special Coverage program with our colleague Karim Deeb. MG HS will be the star of today’s episode, and it will be test-driven by our colleague Kareem Deeb.
First of all we would like to remind you that MG is a British car brand owned by Chinese giant SAIC Motor, and it has introduced the 2020 MG HS to replace the previous model MG GS. But today’s episode starts with the concept model MG X Motion, which appeared at Beijing Motor Show in 2018, before the production version of the SU- we are talking about today- was launched.
The exterior design of the new Chinese car is elegant and youthful with a large front grille surrounded by modern lamps, and we can also see several distinctive silver chrome touches. The car rides on 18-inch wheels and is also available with LED rear lights.
The new MG HSS is powered by a 2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which generates 231 hp and 360 Nm of torque. The beating heart of this Chinese SUV is connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, it is made by the same manufacturer that provides gearboxes for Toyota cars.
MG HS has a two-wheel-drive system as standard and is optionally available with a four-wheel-drive system. The new 2020 MG HS competes against Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and Toyota RAV4.
MG HSS Prices:
The price of this new car will start at USD 18,000, equivalent to SAR 67,500 or AED 66,100 without adding taxes. But if you opt for the fully-loaded version of 2020 MG HS it will cost you around US $ 20,800 equivalent to SAR 78,000 or AED 76,400.
